Major Project 2- Romeo and Juliet
This is a pre world war 2 1935 adaptation where Romeo is of berber descent and Juliet is from the city I have chosen scene 6 from Act 2, the wedding scene and Act 3 scene 1 Tybalt and mercutios fight scene.For these I have designed an interior and exterior of a mosque with interconnecting markets
Major Project 1- The Resident
In "The Resident" from Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado, a writer attends an artist’s residency in the woods, where her past traumas and insecurities resurface, blurring the line between reality and psychological breakdown. As she struggles with isolation and judgment from fellow residents, her grasp on sanity unravels, leading to an eerie and ambiguous climax.
Short Film- Ex Machina
The story explores themes of consciousness, manipulation, and the ethics of artificial intelligence, leaving viewers to question what truly defines humanity and free will. Through this Short film project I took the script from Ex Machina and adapted it in a retro futurist context inspired by films like Blade Runner and Diva.
